WhatsApp has added Fingerprint Lock for Android

WhatsApp has added a fingerprint privacy option to its app. you’ll need to update it to access the security feature.

Ealrier this year, WhatsApp has added Touch ID and Face ID for iPhone as an extra security feature on users on the iOS platform and have now launched it on Android.

To enable it, tap Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock. Turn on Unlock with fingerprint, and confirm your fingerprint.

    Absolutely love this feature. Got rid of the third party app I used to keep my W/A secure. It only sucks that it took it’s time to roll out on Android. In any case, it’s real cool. 🙂
