StarTimes to launch an e-shopping platform: StarTimes GO

As people are recommended to stay at home, shopping can become a challenge for some families. To solve such a problem, StarTimes is launching an interactive e-shopping platform of premium selection named StarTimes GO. A programme of the same name will be on air on StarTimes channels, offering an access to the no-touch “TOP” shopping experience, namely through integrated services available: TV, Online and Phone-call. The newly born e-shopping service will cover the Sub-Saharan Africa area with Uganda and Kenya as pilot countries.

With the slogan “Better Life, Let’s GO”, the programme will focus at first on electronic products and expand to other type of goods.

From ordering to receiving the goods, customers do not need to leave home at all and risk any physical contact. Orders can be made safely through StarTimes call centre and StarTimes ON mobile application. The payment is no-touch as well through online payment platforms. And installation service is also available together with a swift delivery to home.

More than a shopping service, StarTimes GO is a fully integrated platform aiming at giving people a “better life”.
