Snapchat recorded user growth of 13 million in Q2

Snapchat seems to still have its skin in game, growing by 13 million users in the second quarter (Q2) of 2019. Its biggest user base is still America with 83 million active users and secondly in Europe with 64 million users.

Snapchat also posted a revenue of US $388 million for the quarter, up by a fifth from the first quarter , but remained in the red, with a loss of USD 255 million, compared to US $310 million in Q1. Snap blamed the loss on investments to support the user growth and attract advertisers. (Telecompaper). the company forecasts that it will make revenues of over US $420 million in the next quarter.
