How to save Instagram Live videos to your phone

In November 2016, Instagram launched the Live video feature but din’t give users the option of saving their videos until now, announcing a new ‘save’ feature for Instagram Live.

After you broadcast your live video and want to keep it because you loved what happened in it, you can now save the video to your smartphone by tapping the ‘save’ tool at the top right corner of your screen only after you’re done filming. And you can also download video from Instagram using external tools too.

The video will still disappear in the app, but you will have it saved to your device:

You can access the ‘save’ feature if you have Instagram version 10.12 on iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android in Google Play.
