Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus release expected on 13th August
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has had quite a run but there is an incoming Galaxy Note 5 next month on the 13th of August at Samsung’s Unpacked event, where they usually unveil their latest models.
No proper specifications have been given of the devices but it might be launched at the same time as the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, a phablet version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Let’s stop right there and all agree that the naming of the device is way too similar to that of its rival Apple who have the iphone 6 Plus as it phablet flagship of the year. This is clearly a jab at Apple, who we await for a response from in terms of a device release (think iPhone 6s) by the end of the year. This should be exciting! *rubs hands*
Samsung may win over a few hearts with the Note 5 in the markets that the Note 4 did well in as these users may be the same ones to upgrade. I don’t see others making the switch just yet.
I think the gadgets will do well in bigger international markets, but they better get ready for reduction in sales when Apple releases their own device.
In Zambia however, I predict higher sales of Note 5/ S6 Edge devices than Apple’ s iPhone 6S phones once released as we LOVE Android a little more than iOS. Don’t believe me? Look around you right now and count the number of iPhones compared to Android phones there are.
K50 if you can send me a picture showing more iOS than Android devices in one room of atleast a 100 people 🙂
