Samsung and MTN have launched the Samsung Galaxy Note9 in Zambia
Now that I’m finally awake let me tell you about last night.
What had happened was, MTN Zambia in partnership with Samsung ibnvited to their launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Note9, which has been referred to as the ‘most powerful Note yet’.
Charles Molapisi, MTN Zambia CEO said the launch was the result of a strategic partnership between his company and Samsung to eliver customers witha superior experience across data, voice and the full spectrum of services on the MTN network.
“Our interest in partnering with with Samsung for the exclusive launch of the Note9 device in Zambia is because of our vision to lead in the delivery of a bold new digital world. the ultimate objective is to encourage Zambians to use the internet to improve their lives and boost productivity,” he said.
According to Samsung, customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note9 through MTN will receive a free hamper including a wireless charger, HDMI cable for DEDX, free tripod stand. MTN subscribers will also get 500MB data, 50 call minutes, 50 free SMSes and a free WhatsApp bundle every month for 24 months.
Ok so here are some quick specs about the device and hopefully I’ll be able to give you a hands-on review too:
- It comes with an SPen that has Bluetooth technology so it connects immediately you pull it out of phone. You can use it as a clicker for presentations, to take photos at a distance from the device
- 2960 x 1440 screen resolution, with infinity display
- The Note9 has a dual camera system in the rear, both 12MP, that have a flaw detection feature which asks you to retake a photo if it doesn’t come out well
- 128GB inbuilt memory, expandable up to 512GB by micro SD card.

- 4000mAH battery
