Review of the itel it1409
Small and light in the hand, dual-SIM, and a removable battery, here is what else you should know about the itel it1409 phone:
Dimensions: 125 x64.5 x 10.8mm
Mobile connectivity: 3G
Dual SIM: you can put 2 standard size SIM cards in the slots above the battery:
RAM: 512MB (IKR!!! But then again, look at the price…)
Memory: 8GB, but only had 4.27GB available for my own stuff and apps. You might want to buy an SD card – up to 32GB.
Operating system: Android 5.1 (Lollipop), with a 1.2 GHz quadcore processor.
Camera: 2MP front camera which I took a selfie with:
and a 0.3MP rear camera that I took a picture of my feet with. It comes with a flash:
If you’re all about high quality pictures, this is not the phone for you.
Battery: 1500mAh removable lithium ion battery. Gave me about 6 hours of battery use with light WiFi usage to get online.
Price: about K500, though it may vary slightly from one retailer to the next.
Conclusion: I’d recommend the itel it1409 for light to medium phone users, who don’t spend their entire day online connected to mobile data or WiFi. Defintely a low-budget phone that atleast gives you access to the internet. May compete well with other brands like BlackBerry and Huawei which one can find within the same price range.
