MTN Launches Groupwide MTN Business Media Campaign
MTN Group, the holding company for the African and Middle-Eastern mobile telecoms operations, has launched a Groupwide campaign to showcase the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU), officially branded as MTN Business for its Pan-African Markets.
In a press statement received from MTN Group, in Johannesburg, says the campaign skilfully tells the story of how integrated technology is enabling businesses and stimulating the growth of large and small enterprises across business segments and geographies. This is with the aim of further differentiating the enterprise business unit from the consumer services.
Excerpts from the Statement read, “Available through multiple channels, including television, print and digital platforms, the campaign also shines the spotlight on how MTN Business customers benefit from MTN’s expansive network on the continent. In addition to a presence in 19 countries across Africa, MTN’s enterprise customers also enjoy a seamless network experience, leveraging off the Group’s undersea cable investments.”
The creative concept is based on the coffee bean, the world’s second most traded commodity, after oil, the campaign demonstrates the role of connectivity and integrated technology from MTN Business in the business value chain leading to the delivery of your filled cup of coffee.
“The message is that, whether you’re a start-up or a multinational, our solutions can help you run a smarter, more efficient and more profitable business,” says Elia Tsouros, Acting Executive for the MTN Group Enterprise Business Unit.
“Whether it’s providing farmers with real-time weather data, custom-designing logistics and tracking solutions for transport companies, managing inventory and supply through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or enabling next-level cross-border connectivity through MTN’s Global MPLS VPN network, our integrated technology makes the New World of business work.”
Recall recently, MTN Zambia became the latest market to launch MTN Cloud services. This being the first among the mobile or fixed operators to come up with a clearly defined service offering for enterprises – small to large. The introduction of MTN Cloud in Zambia comes after a successful launch of the services in Ghana and Nigeria in April and Uganda and Cote d’Ivoire in August. Roll out to other markets is expected to continue as the MTN Group also increases the product offering in the already existing portfolio.
