MTN Zambia launches new number range, 076

Mobile operator, MTN Zambia have announced the launch of an additional new number range and expansion of an existing number range aimed at allowing new customers to join the network and reserve up to four numbers of their choice.

MTN Zambia Chief Executive Officer, Mr Charles Molapisi said,

“MTN has introduced the new number range of 076 because our customer base is growing and hence we need to allow more customers to grow with us and join the Y’ello family.

Existing customers will have the same offers as the 076-number range.  Customers will be given an opportunity to reserve a special number of their choice or use a special date as their mobile number and once the number is reserved, the customer has 7 days to redeem their number at any MTN outlet.”

The benefits of the new number range have three dimensions, customers have an opportunity to create a number of their choice, create a number that reflect their birthday, anniversary or any special date in their lives and create a number like their existing number from other networks.

New customers will get free 300 MB Data and 10 minutes on-net minutes and all MTN customers will get free Instagram, free MTN TV+ and free Facebook plus send money for free when they recharge their phone with K2.

For customers to enjoy the benefits of the new number range, they will need to reserve a number on the MTN web portal here.
