MTN Zambia launches Connected Home

MTN Business this week unveiled its Fibre to the Home product under the umbrella name ‘Connected Home’ which will see Zambian homes enjoy fast and reliable internet via fibre at very affordable and competitive rates.

MTNs Fibre to the Home will be delivered to customers via GPON Technology enabling one single feeding fibre from MTN’s nearest point of presence to serve multiple homes and small businesses. The platform removes significant cost and accessibility obstacles, ultimately enabling access to the internet on a broader scale, leading to the formation of a vast network of easy to access solutions addressing real-world and business needs.

Under the ‘Connected Home’ Umbrella, customers will have Connected Home LTE, Connected Home Fibre and Connected Home LTE Plus as options to choose from depending on their particular needs. With the introduction of MTN Business’ Fibre to the Home offer, the enterprise unit will be better placed to enable customers to grow their businesses by providing them with reliable connectivity and access to world-class digital solutions.

Connected Home is one of the ways in which MTN Zambia is addressing the needs of its enterprise customers. To this end, the company will also be enhancing its MTN Cloud services offering which currently is only available under SME with new services in the coming months.
