MTN Zambia and Zambezii.com partner to assist business on their digital journey
Zambia’s leading telecommunications company, MTN Zambia, has partnered with Zambezii.com to allow Zambian business to trade online, through an eCommerce platform.
Zambezii.com is a digital platform that empowers local businesses on their quest to reach out to the continent as a whole. It bridges the gap in business-to-business (B2B)interactions, promoting business suppliers and business buyers by providing a localized digital solution to boost regional trade, enhance procurement, and assist businesses to trade online.
MTN Zambia is charging forward with an initiative to assist SMEs with digital transformation through device loans, mobile financial services, packaged bundles, and more. Zambezii.com will be part of this initiative by offering its services in full form, complimenting MTN’s existing offerings by adding a digital platform to all packages presented by MTN to its clients. The addition of Zambezii.com means clients can be taken through the whole digital journey without falling off half-way, a complete solution, only accessible through one single provider.
Zambezii.com services will be offered to MTN clients through multiple tier packages, where clients will be onboarded after registering through the dedicated MTN channel. This will include product photography, data collection, online store branding and an online store launch.
The platform has over 200 businesses registered that many smaller SMEs would find it difficult to get access to through traditional means. A dedicated search bar on the Zambezii platform allows instant results for any products that buyers are looking for and get quotations within a matter of minutes, so they do not have to run around to physically find these.Payments for orders can be made via Mobile Money, credit cardand bank transfer options.
