iPhone 6 and iWatch may be launched this September 9th
Ok listen up Apple lovers. The moment you’ve been waiting for is nigh. Apple sent out invitations last Thursday to interested parties in the US to attend an event in California on the 9th of September and it’s being speculated that the iPhone 6 will finally be launched.
Another gadget we expect to see is the long awaited iWatch, of whose expectations we wrote about in another article. Apple partnered with world largest watchmaker Swatch to make it so we expect it to come in various forms and styles, even colours.
There are expectations that the iPhone 6 will come in two sizes, 4.7 and 5.5 inches, the larger one most likely to be called the iPhone 6L. However, there are also rumours according to it168.com that the 5.5 inch version may not be released and only the 4.7 iPhone 6 and the 8 and 16 GB variants of the iPhone 5s.
The price of these iPhones is also estimated to be higher than its predecessors due to the inclusion of a sapphire screen instead of the glass used in older versions. If you’re one who gets scratches on your phone a lot, the sapphire screen will make it very hard for you to, being very scratch-proof.
Another feature expected at the event is a cable that works two ways. Previously there was a smaller side at one end that was plugged into the iPhone, and then a larger USB plug at the other end that you could plug into an adapter or PC, but now there might be equal sized USB plugs at both ends of the cable so there is no “correct” side. Versatile much?
We’ll just have to wait and see what Apple has really been up to.
