Mbonge: The business competition reality TV show for Zambian entrepreneurs

Great Minds Media Solutions with backing from the Citizen’s Economic Empowerment Commission have launched an audition phase for a reality TV show called ‘Mbonge: The Marketplace’ that will follow a few Zambian entrepreneurs on their startup or business journey with a goal to win K250, 000 in the business competition.

The audition dates are set for the 8th to the 12th of February 2016 between 8:00hrs and 18:00hrs and according to the Mbonge Facebook page will be split into times for each entrepreneur.

The show’s aim is to promote and reward a positive entrepreneurial culture in Zambia and to highlight what work is being done by young entrepreneurs in growth and job creation of the country.

Tips on how to ace the auditions were also shared on the page:

Branding Strategies: Does your business have an identity? Is it registered with PACRA and ZRA?

Marketing Approach: How wide is your clientele base? Where do you get your raw material? 

Product Quality/Product Range: Is your quality consistent? What avenues do you use to enhance your brand quality?

Financials and Accounts: How do you intend to manage your cash flow for the development of your business?
