Lusaka Set to Host the 2nd Future of AI in Africa Global Summit

The countdown has begun for the most anticipated event in Artificial Intelligence innovation across Africa—the 2nd Future of AI in Africa Global Summit.

Set against the backdrop of the prestigious Ciela Resort, Bonanza Estate in Lusaka, Zambia, this premier summit promises three days of unparalleled insights and transformative discussions from June 25th to 27th, 2024.

Under the theme “Leveraging AI to unlock Opportunities in Banking, Finance, Cyber Security, HR, Mining, Healthcare, Telecoms, Education, Agriculture & Operations,” world-class speakers will illuminate the path forward, offering invaluable insights into the transformative power of AI across various sectors.

Organised by Compu-Connect Education, the Summit will draw Keynote Speakers from across the world and participants from banking and finance to healthcare and education and will serve as the ultimate gateway to unlocking the full potential of AI across industries.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Compu-Connect Education Group Chief Executive Officer Sarah Luyle Njamu stated, “Artificial intelligence is driving the business landscape including the governmentmachinery now, so it is crucial that people from every area of business and government attend this Summit in order to gain insights on how to move Africa into the future using artificial intelligence.

She added, “We are pleased to bring our premier summit to Lusaka. Last year we had a successful ground breaking event in Livingstone and because of strong feedback and demand from that Summit, it was strongly felt that we organise a second edition and this time around bring it to Lusaka, the centre of commerce to allow many people to access this event.”

Whether you are a seasoned professional or an emerging leader, seize the opportunity to network with industry pioneers, gain cutting-edge knowledge, and explore the latest technologies shaping the future,” Mrs. Njamu said.

Mrs. Njamu stated that Africa should not be left behind in conversations around the future of A.I hence the need for players across all sectors of the economy to create strong linkages on how to respond to A.I.

“Don’t just witness the future—shape it,” she urged.
