If you’ve always wanted to connect to some of the biggest influencers around the world, you know LinkedIn is one the best places to go for that. LinkedIn has just added 30 second video features to post 30 second videos. Not anyone can post just yet, you have to be an Influencer, as LinkedIn has stated:

While the ability to create video content is currently only available to Influencers, anyone can follow an Influencer at any time to engage with their content, either from their profile, the feed, or their video. We encourage you to share your thoughts by commenting on videos and inviting others to join the conversation by sharing the videos with your network.  By doing so, you have the opportunity to engage more deeply with the people and topics that matter in your industry.

How does one become a LinkedIn Influencer? ‘LinkedIn Influencers are selected by invitation only and comprise a global collective of 500+ of the world’s foremost thinkers, leaders, and innovators. The list of Influencers changes throughout the year. We regularly evaluate existing Influencers to include only the most engaged, prolific, and thoughtful contributors and to ensure that their expertise matches our members’ interests. We no longer accept Influencer applications.’ (Source: LinkedIn)

You will be able to see the videos in your timeline from your timeline, and comment and like them. In social media circles, video is fast becoming the best way to convey messages so it’s no shocker that LinkedIn is playing ball too, as others like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat have been making use of video posts for a while now. We’re yet to see whether the length of the videos will be increased
