Komba Malukutila appointed MTN Zambia’s Chief FinTech Officer

MTN Zambia is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Komba Malukutila as Chief FinTech Officer effective 1st February 2020.

Until this appointment, Mr. Malukutila served as General Manager: Enterprise Business within MTN Zambia where he led the operation to winning the best Enterprise Business OPCO of the Year 2018 within MTN’s global footprint. He was Awarded Sales Personality of the Year in 2017 by the Zambia Institute of Marketing.

Mr. Malukutila brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the new role gleaned over a 10-year career within the telecommunications industry with a track-record of driving business strategy for growth, as well as developing high-performing teams. A dynamic telecommunication professional with over 12 years work experience within Commercial and Technology functional streams, Mr. Malukutila has led various portfolios within MTN Zambia including Product Development, Marketing and Enterprise Business.

Mr. Malukutila holds a Telecoms MBA from the Telecoms Academy, South Africa and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, England.
