Instagram now autoplays video sound as you scroll

Popular visual sharing app Instagram has changed its sound settings for videos uploaded to a user’s newsfeed to autoplay as they scroll down.

Once you tap for sound, the next video you find as you scroll down will also have sound turned on.

In other changes, Instagram shared that you can now send live videos through direct messages. just tap the arrow at the bottom right corner of the video you want to share, select a friend or group to share it with and tap send.

If you want to turn off the ability for others to share your story in Direct, you can disable the option in your stories settings.

This sharing feature is being rolled out globally but was available on iOS and Android in the Apple App Store and Google Play as part of Instagram version 11.0.
