Gmail is getting a new look

Google has shared some changes to the look of its Gmail email service. In a statement to The Verge, Gmail would now have a ‘new, clean look’. Users with phones operating the Material design will be perfectly fine with the new Gmail as some features and buttons stay the same.

Some new features include being able to snooze emails so that they reappear in your inbox hours or days later. You can choose to  see those emails “later today”, “tomorrow”, “this weekend”, “next week” or “someday”.

Gmail will also add smart replies at the end of an email in its desktop version as has been previously seen in the mobile version.

There’s also a column on the far right side as you an see in the image below that gives users access to Google Calendar, and enables them create new tasks, make notes or add events:
