Apply for the ZICTA ICT Innovation Programme 2017

“The Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) hereby invites interested Zambian youths aged between 18-35 years to submit applications for enrollment into a collaborative ICT innovation programme.

The programme is open to youths that have ICT-related innovations relating to any sector of the economy. The applications will be evaluated by an independent technical evaluation committee to facilitate entry into the innovation programme. A maximum of twenty (20) candidates or teams will be shortlisted to participate in the innovation programme. The innovation programme will be for a duration of to six months.

The enrolled candidates will receive support that will include but not be limited to the following:

•Business development support services;

•Technical development support

•Access to facilities such as internet, computers, mobile devices and other office equipment essential to enhance ICT innovations;

•Mentorship opportunities with identified industry experts and successful entrepreneurs;

•Business linkages with possible off-takers of the participants’ innovations;

•Linkages with potential financiers and equity partners; and

•Other services that could support the development of the idea into a viable business venture.
