Apply now for BongoHive’s Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2017/2018

BongoHive, in partnership with the US Embassy Zambia announce the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2017/2018. The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp will support 60 aspiring entrepreneurs in the following themes over the course of twelve (12) months starting November 2017.:

• Social Impact – deadline 26th October 2017
• Media & entertainment – deadline 8th December 2017
• FinTech – deadline 16th February 2018

eCommerce & retail, AgriBusiness/CleanTech/Energy, and Internet of things/Hardware are some other themes whose deadlines will be shared soon.

Under each theme, participants in the bootcamp will go through the following stages:

Stage 1

• 2-Day Co-creation Event

After the ideation session, 10 participants/teams will be shortlisted to enter the Discover pre-accelerator stage.

Stage 2

• 3 Week Discover Pre-accelerator
• 5-Day Hands-on Support by American Entrepreneur

Final

• 3hr Pitch Event and $1,000 Seed Investment grand prize.

The entrepreneurship bootcamp is open to anyone with a business idea or looking to build a business under any of the six (6) themes. The entrepreneurship bootcamp programme is as follows:

Nov 2017 – Social Impact

Jan 2018 – Media, Entertainment, and Marketing

Mar 2018 – Financial Services/Technology

May 2018 – Retail and eCommerce

July 2018 – AgriBusiness, Energy and Clean Tech

Sep 2018 – Internet of Things/Tech Hardware
