Airtel Zambia hauls 4 awards at ZAPRA conference

Airtel Networks Zambia Plc over the weekend walked away with the most awards at the annual Zambia Public Relations Association (ZAPRA) conference and awards night held at Livingstone’s Avani Victoria Falls Resort.

Airtel was conferred with four awards comprising of 2 Bronze in the categories of Best CSR Program, and Best Digital Platform and 2 Silver in the Best Digital Media Campaign category and Best Public Relations Campaign category. The Conference and awards night were graced by Minister of Information and Media, Hon. Chushi Kasanda.

Speaking about the awards that were received on behalf of the Company by Head of Corporate Communications Yuyo Nachali-Kambikambi, Airtel Zambia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Apoorva Mehrotra said the four awards were testament of Airtel’s mission to continue providing best in class products and services for all its customers.

Mehrotra said: “We are delighted to be given these awards as we strive to connect the unconnected, reach the financially excluded and bridge the digital divide by continuing to provide innovative and affordable essential services that we believe will unlock the potential for people and help the economy to grow.
