Startup Grind to host Vodafone Zambia CEO, Lars Stork
This Thursday monthly startup meetup, Startup Grind Lusaka, will host Vodafone Zambia‘s CEO, Lars Stork, to ‘chat about opportunities that Internet and mobile provides for Zambians and why Zambia is positioned to be the Silicon Valley of Africa.’
According to Startup Grind’s event page, ‘Lars has worked for many organisations including Celtel and Unilever and was named one of top 100 most influential people in the telecoms industry by Global Telecoms Business (GTB). He has won a global award for the best innovative approach in terms of penetrating rural areas in Africa. Lars, who is originally from Denmark, has lived and worked in 15 countries around the world and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with entrepreneurs.’
