Press Release: Save the date for TEDxEucalyptusRd!

TEDx is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading Thinkers and doers to share ideas in any discipline – technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business development. The spirit of a Tedx event is ideas worth spreading. TEDx was created to aid local self-organized communities provide a ‘TED like’ experience. It is a local forum for ideas within the community to inspire people to change their lives futures and ultimately their worlds! This year’s theme is , focusing on the impact of women in development.

In planning for TEDxWomen 2016, we asked our community, What matters to you now? In emails and comments and even drawings from TEDxWomen organizers and our network of longtime attendees, one powerful theme emerged: TIME.

TEDxEucalyptusRd is going to be a live stream party that will be screened via WiFi in partnership with HAI Telecommunications.

VIP guests will be Suwilanji Siame, Natasha Salifyanji, Benjamin Mwape, Rocky Sombe, Chola Lungu-Mutoni, Sandy Vwera, and Albert Manasyan. The venue is Cresta Golf View on the 27th of October 2016 from 18:30 to 20:00hrs and the charge is K300 per head, and is a networking and cocktail event.

Time is personal. We all have the same amount of time – 24 hours a day and yet most of us feel we never have enough. Even with today’s latest inventions, technology, science, we can’t make time or stop time — or can we?
Come explore time zones, time travel, time-outs and times together. We will explore the conventions and challenges of time. We will ask the hard questions. Because isn’t it about time: To find long-term solutions to climate change, poverty, immigration, violence, race, gender and economic inequities. To lead for different outcomes. To challenge our “time-saving” technologies.

TEDxEucalyptusRd will have these side activities as well;
