Free Windows 10 update to end on July 29th, and many haven’t upgraded
If Microsoft users haven’t upgraded to Windows 10 on their devices after all those annoying pop-ups telling them to, it’s only because they don’t want to. Windows 10 adoption since July 29th last has been faster than it took for Windows 8/8.1, but is still far from the numbers that Windows 7 adoption hit when launched.
The chart above from Statista shows the global market share among Windows users of versions 7, 8/8.1 and 10 on PC garnered over the past year. They note that despite users being told they can upgrade for free from their previous OS, there is a certain attitude of annoyance they felt at being reminded every damn second to upgrade!

Should you upgrade yourself? Well, think about it, the update is free till the 29th of July (exactly a year after launching) after which it will cost $119, so here are your choices: spend about K1190, or K0? There we go!
