Due to popular demand from the increasing number of Windows 10 users, there are now apps for Facebook, its Messenger platform, and Instagram that were launched over the weekend.  Davis Fields, Facebook’s product manager, posted this on Facebook:

“We are excited to rollout Windows 10 apps for Facebook and Messenger on desktop and Instagram on mobile. These new apps will load quickly and easily within Windows and have the most up-to-date features.”

Facebook for Windows 10 (which I will now refer to as Win10) has been made livelier, allowing users to see reactions to statuses/photos shared, as well as included the use of stickers. It also allows for users to open a link they click on in the app to open in a browser of their choice and can then return to the app by simply clicking the back button.

The Win10 version also has a tab on the right that shows event reminders, birthdays and has now added trending topics.

Messenger for Win10 enables users to send stickers, GIF and animations in-app.

Instagram for Win10 has also got its typical video, direct message and ‘Explore’ features available.

Users can get Facebook and Messenger in the desktop App Store, while Instagram will be availabe on the mobile version of Win10 whenever once they roll it out…
